Shai Song Skin

Introducing another Asian skin for Skin fair 2013. Song is inspired by the very colourful art of Chinese Opera make up.  Featuring hand painted and realistic soft rounded curves, this Asian skin comes in 2 cleavage options, including a bare-faced skin.  In this line, you can have 10 different looks from the simple to the avant garde. Please note that bare skin is powdered on the face so it comes a little lighter than the rest of the body, mimicking a stage make up base.

Song is the flamboyant Chinese butterfly with 9 brow options suited for each make up. Also included is a modifiable body shape at 1.92 meter height avatar, modifiable brow shape and sculpted lashes.

Shai Yumi Skins

Introducing Shai Yumi Skin, a fully hand painted Asian skintone with yellow undertones base and supple soft contours on the body.  Yumi is an ethereal beauty, with 10 make up options to choose from. These skins come with 2 cleavage and 4 brow options per folder. Also included is a modifiable shape with Asian features, mod brow shape and lashes.

I have been working in PS for years and I still learn new things everyday. So today, I thought I’d help out our artist community with these keybinds/Keyboard Shortcuts. With every software you learn, you need these guides on a billboard, to help you in mastering your art. I am still working on personalizing my workflow. Some things are just finicky and so hard to memorize. >.<

How to use the guide:

The top half of the infographic shows some of the more commonly used commands in PS. Depending on the OS you use, just swap out the CTRL with COMMAND for macs. The bottom half shows you the  illustration on where these commands fall on your keyboard. These work on default installation but fine tune them according to how  you like.

If you find some actions not applicable to the type of work you do, just edit it out with the Keyboard Shortcuts Preferences (CTRL +SHIFT +ALT + K) and make your own.

WHAT IS MISS MUTYA?

Miss Mutya is a competition open to all female Second Life residents. Its primary aim is to search for the most stylish and classy lady who will best represent the Casa del Shai brand. The word “mutya” means jewel, and signifies strength and beauty — 2 important qualities we seek in the woman who will wear the Miss Mutya crown. Miss Mutya is organized and presented by Casa del Shai, Pixel Icon Inc. and La Mode School of Fashion and Agency.

HOW TO JOIN

1. Style an outfit using Casa del Shai clothing. Use of Casa del Shai skin/make-up is encouraged but not required.
2. Post 2 photos of yourself (full body and head shot) wearing the outfit on Flickr and put the Casa del Shai link (http://www.casadelshai.com) on the description.
3. Put this as a title/headline: MISS MUTYA 2011 – CASA DEL SHAI MODEL SEARCH ENTRY
4. Add your photo to the Miss Mutya 2011 Flickr  Group.
5. The Mutya Council which consists of officers from the 3 major sponsors will select the top 8 contestants, who will compete at the runway show and pageant.
